When to Launch Your Startup?
Are you ready to tell the world about your startup? But not so fast, you don’t want to waste your announcement!
- Avoid launching on Mondays because people are usually swamped from catching up with work. This is also true for any other day that falls after a holiday break.
- Forget Fridays too! People are frantically finishing work and they’re itching to get out of the office. The same is true for any other day that falls before a holiday break.
As a general rule of thumb, people are more likely to engage on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays because your target audience are most likely more relaxed during these days. You’ll also notice less web traffic or user activity during weekends and holidays as people tend to disconnect from their devices or check it less than usual.
While it is also a common practice in some industries like Gaming and Music to release new games or albums on Tuesdays, these industries have a different reason for picking Tuesday.
TIP: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are also the best days to send your email newsletter.
CAUTION: The best day would still vary from industry to industry so do make sure you launch when your audience are most receptive from hearing about your awesome new startup. Best of luck!
